Skiing classic track at Mount Blue State Park!

To celebrate the Winter Family Fun Day this Saturday at Mount Blue State Park, Maine Trail Finder has released two more winter trail networks Mount Blue State Park Cross-country Ski Trails and Aroostook State Park Cross-County Ski Trails! Both trail networks offer more than 10 miles of groomed classic single track winding through woods, fields, and for every level of cross-country skiing from novice to advanced! Check it out!
The Family Fun Day goes from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and will highlight not only the cross-country ski network but also the Mount Blue State Park Snow Shoe Trails already live on Maine Trail Finder! Other highlights will include ice skating, sledding, hot lunch, guided nature walks, winter camping demonstrations, hay rides, and more! Equipment is available for the day to visitors those who want to try cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or skating but don't have their own equipment and all activities are included with the entrance fee of $1:50 for the park. Children under 12 and seniors over 64 are free!
Sounds like an excellent way to spend a Saturday morning and afternoon!
