Today, the addition of six trails including five more State Parks, marks over 50 trails and trail networks now live and searchable on Maine Trail Finder! However, we’re not stopping there! In the upcoming weeks, we will continue to push more trails live on the site!
The trails going live today include Cascade Stream Gorge Trail in Sandy River Plantation and the Presumpscot Network and Riverton Trolley Park straddling the Presumpscot River in Portland and Westbrook. Three state parks and one state park network were also added. Highlighting sandy beaches of Maine are Ferry Beach State Park in Saco and Crescent Beach and Kettle Cove State Parks in Cape Elizabeth. More rugged coastline can be explored at Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park along the Harraseeket River in Freeport or at Two Lights State Park along the rocky coast of Cape Elizabeth.
Explore one of these great trails or discover one of the many other gems near you! Get out and enjoy a trail today in celebration!
