About This Event

Phenology is the study of seasonal changes in nature. Without even realizing it, we all observe phenology events that occur around us: animal migrations, flowering plants, the arrival of snow, and more. During this presentation, Hazel Stark, Maine Outdoor School Co-Founder, Naturalist Educator, and Registered Maine Guide, will introduce what phenology is, why tracking phenology observations is important, and what you should be on the lookout for this spring!

Downeast Coastal Conservancy and Downeast Lakes Land Trust are coming together to host a Virtual Webinar Series featuring local naturalists and professionals. Join us Monday evenings biweekly from 4:30pm-5:30pm!
