Join Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust staff for a Walk in the Woods on the Hatchery Brook Preserve outer loop. This Walk in the Woods weekly program is designed to introduce the community to our 32 miles of recreational trails around Rangeley. Bring your family, meet your neighbors, and make some friends as we explore new trails throughout the summer!
The Hatchery Brook Trail is located on the outskirts of Rangeley village and features 50 acres of forested land and a half mile of frontage on Rangeley Lake. A series of bog walkways provide low-impact travel across the wetlands. Three picnic sites on Russel Cove provide water access for boaters while affording views of the Town Park.
Directions: From town take ME-4 north. Take a left on Manor Road (just opposite Moose Alley), the parking area for the property is 0.25 miles down Manor Road.
Put on sturdy shoes, grab a bottle of water and charge your camera. We'll see you at the Trailhead!
