The International Appalachian Trail celebrates 25 years in 2019. Don Hudson, President of the Maine Chapter of the IAT, will tell the story of how the proposal to connect the three highest mountains in Maine, New Brunswick, and southern Quebec — on the Gaspe Peninsula — grew to include all of Atlantic Canada, and how the decision to trace the arc of the North Atlantic Ocean Basin resulted in the IAT wending its way through northwestern Europe to Morocco. We hope you will join us!
