What was once a local dump-site, is now a beautiful example of our ability to assist the rebuilding of the natural landscape. There are numerous hiking and biking trails here and dogs are permitted without a leash.
The Kenduskeag Stream Trail is a scenic urban trail that cuts through the Center of Bangor. Remnants of old mills can be seen along the banks of the stream and there is plenty of parking available close by.
An easy series of loops wind their way between Skowhegan's Memorial Field Complex and Heselton Street. These loops lead away from the playgrounds and ball fields into a white pine forest bisected with ravines.
