About This Event

Point Series: DR Series Race #7 of 14

This is a 10.5-mile white wate race. The race course is in a beautiful, remote setting, beginnning at First Machias Lake and finishing at the Airline Bridge. The course covers a mile-long lake, then about nine miles of scenic flatwater interspersed with a few Class II/III rapids.

Registration begins at 9am the morning of the race.

• $25 for adults
• $20 for ACA members
• $5 for under 18
• FREE for under 18 ACA members

Hard shell helmets are required.

A potluck cookout and awards ceremony will immediately follow the race at the finish line. Net proceeds to benefit the canoe racing team at Orono High School.
