Meet at the Appalachian Mountain Club office just south of Indian Hill Trading Post on ME Rt. 6/15 in Greenville for a day of stewardship on the Blue Ridge Trail.
Tools will be available, but bringing your own loppers or rakes is always an option. Gloves, solid boots or shoes, water, a snack or trail lunch, and insect repellent are suggested. Expect a narrow, somewhat uneven trail with natural surfaces (rocks, dirt, roots). Work likely will entail cutting/removing encroaching brush, lopping small limbs, clearing debris by hand and/or with tools, and possibly assisting with blazing and signage.
AN RSVP is strongly encouraged but not required. Please direct your RSVP or any questions to trip leader Rex Turner.
