Story time and an easy hike at Blue Point with Kelly.
Kelly will read stories about the season of fall, acorns, and Indigenous peoples. The hike to the reading spot is about 1 mile roundtrip. All ages are welcome.
Kelly Pietrzak loves to work with children: from coaching youth sports, to leading youth nature hikes, to homeschooling her own two children. She previously ran a nature education business for preschool aged children and has a Master’s in Education, teaching mostly middle school math but also at the elementary and college level. She loves to camp, tend her ever expanding gardens, and trail run with the family dog. This is the third year Kelly has led walks for children with Scarborough Land Trust, and her second year serving on SLT’s Communication, Education, and Outreach Committee.
No sign up required. Rain date is Tuesday, November 29th.
This event is in partnership with the Scarborough Public Library.
