So Greater Franklin Economic Development Council and Greater Franklin Food Council are bringing Marketing Meetups to Morrison Hill Orchard for a conversation about food, over pizza and cider.
Farmers, food producers, restaurants, retailers, makers, business owners, marketing folks, aspiring entrepreneurs — if you grow it, make it, sell it, serve it, or just want to chat business in a beautiful orchard, pull up a chair.
We'll talk about what's working, what's not, and the challenges of getting local food in front of more people. We'll also have a 2-Minute Tips panel: practical ideas from people doing the work, delivered in two minutes or less, with plenty of time for everyone else to ask questions and share what's worked for them.
Marketing Meetups are casual conversations. Bring your questions. Bring something you've learned. Meet people facing similar challenges and people who might have solutions.
Everyone interested in Maine's local food economy is welcome.
