Join the Portland Youth Corps (PYC) in North Deering Park during Love Maine Trails Month! PYC is a youth led conservation corps for teen students/residents of Portland and we are excited to host lovely volunteers.
This Summer we will be working in Portland's newest park North Deering Park. We will be doing some trail maintenance/construction with one group and invasive species removal with another.
This event is family-friendly, and crew members from PYC will be happy to teach plant ID and newcomers to trail work. Please ensure that you come with a water bottle, long pants, closed toe shoes, bug spray and sunscreen! There will be water available to refill water bottles.

We will meet at the parking lot next to the baseball field in the park. The PYC tool trailer will be present and act as our HQ (with a brand new paint job that will make it hard to miss).
