Join us at the Simon Trail in Lamoine for a 1-mile walk to look for warblers and hawks. Afterward, there will be an optional trip to Marlboro Beach (a five-minute drive away) to look for ducks, and enjoy great views of MDI. Offered in partnership with Downeast Audubon. Pre-registration with either group is required.
Marlboro Beach was recently protected through a partnership between FBC and the Town of Lamoine.
Directions: On coastal Rte 1N in Ellsworth, turn right on Douglas Highway (Rt 184) and drive 2.8 miles. Immediately past the Lamoine Town Hall turn left on Pinkham’s Flats Road (Rt 204 which becomes Partridge Cove Rd) and drive 2.3 miles to the Simon Trail parking lot on the right.
