Join Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust staff for a Walk in the Woods at the South Bog Conservation Area. This Walk in the Woods weekly program is designed to introduce the community to our 32 miles of recreational trails around Rangeley. Bring your family, meet your neighbors, and make some friends as we explore new trails throughout the summer!
The South Bog Conservation Area features 1000 acres of primarily forested uplands surrounding South Bog Stream. The property includes extensive bog wetlands and also features ledge outcrops that afford expansive views of Rangeley Lake.
Directions : From Oquossoc Village, go south on ME-17 for 5 miles. Take left on South Shore Drive, and go 4 miles. parking area os on left just after South Bog Stream Bridge.
Put on sturdy shoes, grab a bottle of water and charge your camera. We'll see you at the Trailhead!
