Join Rangeley Lake Heritage Trust staff for a Walk in the Woods on the Bonney Point Trail. This Walk in the Woods weekly program is designed to introduce the community to our 32 miles of recreational trails around Rangeley. Bring your family, meet your neighbors, and make some friends as we explore new trails throughout the summer!
The Bonney Point parcel is located on ME-4 between Rangeley and Oquossoc and features 280 acres of land interspersed with rolling fields and meadows. With over a half mile of frontage on Rangeley Lake, the property provides diverse habitat for songbirds, wading birds, amphibians, beaver, bear, deer, and moose. In late summer, the fields produce wildflowers and berries enjoyed by hikers and other wildlife.
Directions: From Rangeley, take ME-4 north 5 miles from town, take a left on Bonney Point Road, and travel approximately 0.75 miles. The parking lot is on the left.
Put on sturdy shoes, grab a bottle of water and charge your camera. We'll see you at the Trailhead!
