Midcoast Conservancy invites bird enthusiasts to join hike guide Ted Mohlie at the Founders Preserve in Waldoboro on June 15th from 7-9 am. The walk is designed for all levels of experience and will entail 1.5 miles of easy walking. Participants can expect to see and/or hear the common breeding birds found in the preserve, which offers varied habitats including field, pond edge and mature forest. The basics of binocular use, along with bird identification and behaviors, will be shared.
Bring binoculars if you have them; loaners will be available.
