About This Event

Hike or run from Denmark to Bridgton over Pleasant Mountain, Southern Maine’s tallest mountain!

The 2019 Loon Echo Trek, presented by Norway Savings Bank, features a 6 mile route for hikers and runners that starts with a shuttle bus ride from Shawnee Peak Ski Area to the shuttle bus drop off at the Southwest Ridge Trail. Trekkers cross over Pleasant Mountain, passing three rest stops and finishing at Shawnee Peak ski area. Trekkers are treated to lunch, beer, and prizes for fundraising. Proceeds from the Trek support Loon Echo’s conservation efforts in the Lake Region.
