Have you ever wanted to learn about the different medicinal uses for plants in the Downeast Lakes region? On Thursday, July 11, the Downeast Lakes Land Trust is thrilled to welcome local herbalist Amy Zipperer for an interactive walk and workshop.
A registered nurse and the owner of Dogwood Herbs, Amy will lead a walk around Grand Lake Stream to identify often overlooked common species that have incredible medicinal values. After the walk, we will head back to the Grand Lake Stream School Building to create a medicinal skin product that everyone will be able to take home! If you weren’t able to attend Amy’s presentation in 2016, don’t miss out this year!
This event is free and open to everyone. For more information, please contact DLLT at (207) 796–2100 or email us.
