Join Cape Elizabeth Land Trust’s new Education Coordinator Philip Mathieu and Stewardship Manager Christian Schorn on a walk around Trundy Point Preserve! Trundy Point is one of Cape Elizabeth’s hidden gems, offering a sheltered pocket beach, expansive views of Casco Bay and five different lighthouses, and the opportunity to spot uncommon seabirds. We will discuss its distinct geology, meet some of the unique biodiversity that calls it home, and enjoy the view with a soundtrack of crashing waves.
The distance covered will be less than a quarter mile, but this may involve walking and climbing on some unstable or slippery rocks–so please bring comfortable and capable footwear. If you would like to explore some of the tidepools, bring shoes you don’t mind getting wet!
