Our next Community Hike will be up Cranberry Peak (3,214 feet) in the Bigelow Range, via the Bigelow Range Trail. We will meet in the trailhead parking area at the end of Currie Street (sometimes spelled “Curry”) in Stratton at 9:30 AM. This will be an up-and-back hike, with a distance of 3.2 miles each way for a total distance of 6.4 miles. The trail is moderate for most of the first half and then emerges onto open ledges and low spruce forest for the remainder. The views from the summit of Cranberry Peak are excellent!
