Our Spring Bird Migration Hike will be led by Lillie Vitelli. Ms. Vitelli is a third generation life-long birder. Her college ornithology course included field trips to Florida, Arizona, and Central America.
The Hike will be through the Grinnell Woods Trail and Little Medomak Brook Loop. The Grinnell Woods, an example of a working woods, is a mixed forest with some frontage along the Little Medomak Brook that attracts a variety of migrating warblers and other song birds.
This event is open to ages 10 or older; minors must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 12 participants so sign up early!
