This trail is a one mile loop and goes through diverse, undisturbed forest habitats. The far end of the loop follows the woods along I-95 for a short way before turning back in towards the trailhead parking area. An old logging road forms one side of the loop, and the trail can be wet in spots, especially in the spring.
Dogs need to be under control of their owners. Carry in, carry out is required.

Orono Land TrustThe trail leaves from a parking area and kiosk at the end of Gardner Road in Orono. Traveling on US Route 2 from Orono, Gardner Road is 0.6 miles south of Kelly Road across from the Penobscot Valley Country Club. Travel along US Route 2, Orono, until you come to Gardner Road.
