Description

These beautiful and well-maintained groomed ski trails can be enjoyed own their own, or as a part of a larger adventure connecting to AMC's nordic ski trail network via the East Side Road groomed trail.

The West Branch Pond ski trails offer a great variety of options. To the north (above East Side Road), the Pleasant River Trail and Maple Ridge Loop to the west of the pond offer easy trails through the woods, around a marsh, and along a stream. North of the pond, more difficult trails travel Hedgehog Mountain, with spectacular views in various locations along the loop and from the broad, more open trail to the south.

South of East Side Road, a number of moderatately difficult spur trails climb uphill and explore White Cap Mountain, West Peak, and Gulf Hagas Mountain, with views from the higher elevations.
