A trip up Pleasant Mountain is a wonderful way to spend a day outside! Whether you're staying in the Sebago Lakes area or you're by the coast and want to get out to the mountains for a day, this hike won't disappoint. Pleasant Mountain is an hour from Portland and offers 'big-peak' views without the challenges of alpine zone exposure found at higher elevations.
There are four trail options to reach the 2006' summit, ranging in distance from 3.6 to 5.8 miles. Each trail offers a variety of terrain, from easy woods walking to steep inclines and short rock scrambles. Your guide will work with you before the hike to choose the trail that best fits your goals and abilities.
Whichever trial we choose, we will stop at the summit for a bagged lunch (provided), incredible views, photos, and exploration!
