Jalbert Park Trail

This short trail winds along between the Fish River and Jalbert Park, offering serene, natural views as well as easy access to recreational spaces.

Fort Kent
Dirt/Forest Floor, Gravel/Crushed Stone, Grass, Pavement

This trail winds through the woods, skirting the western side of the Fish River. The trail also follows the edge of Jalbert Park, behind Fort Kent Elementary School. Proximity to the park and the school give the trail easy access to plenty of places for children to play as well as multi-use fields, tennis courts, and (in the winter) an ice skating rink. The trail ends at an environmental education park with informational kiosks. The trail can be walked on its own, but also connects to the Crocker Beach Trail and the St. John Valley Heritage Trail so the walk can be extended farther.
