Little Tunk Pond Preserve
From US Route 1 in Sullivan head north on ME Route 183/ Tunk Lake Road for 4.3 Miles. Look for the parking area and trailhead on your left.
These 55 acres includes woodlands, abandoned fields, and a sand beach on the pond. Public access to the beach, where swimming is allowed, can be found by following the trail to the end. The property is protected by a conservation easement held by Maine Coast Heritage Trust.
