Come join us out in the watershed for a Winter Wildlife Walk/Snowshoe. USDA Wildlife Biologist Ben Nugent will be leading the walk while teaching us about the basics of animal tracking and what Maine wildlife does during the cold winters! Weather conditions may vary, as will the amount of snow present on the trail. Grab some snowshoes and/or crampons and join us for a relaxed nature walk.
Masks are recommended for those who are unvaccinated and social distancing is encouraged. Please wear warm layers.
Parking will be at the access gate across from 1089 Summer St., Auburn, ME, 04210. If you are heading West on Summer Street go past 1017 Summer Street and turn left. If you are heading East on Summer Street go past 1091 Summer Street and turn right. Please park at the access gate.
Please respond to the event if you would like to join us.
If you do not have snowshoes and would like to participate, or if you have any questions, please contact Carolyn at choutz@awsd.org.
