Fairfield trails are made up of of four walking opportunities: Cattail Trail, Mill Island Park Trail, Goodwill-Hinckley Trails, and the Kennebec Valley Community College Trail off from Western Avenue in Fairfield. The trails are easy to walk, with the Goodwill-Hinckley trails offering multiple paths.
During the month of June, people are encouraged to participate in walking all four trails and leaving them better than when they found them. The Fairfield Economic and Community Development Committee is sponsoring a drawing for a $100 gift card to New Balance shoes for anyone walking all four trails and using the QR code at each site to show their progress.
