Work Entails: Lifting, bending, walking on muddy terrain, guided construction, and carrying lumber on uneven terrain. Lighter invasive plant removal and lopping are also needed.
Parking is at 18 Babbidge Road in Falmouth. There is a grass trailhead between two split rail fences. It can be challenging to see; look for a wooden sign on a tree and a break in the stonewall.
We will be installing a bridge about half a mile into the White Ash Loop. You can find the map on our website.
The trail is very wet and muddy. As we bring in the lumber, please expect roots, short, sometimes steep microtopography, and shallow stream crossings.
Please bring warm layers, tall waterproof boots, gloves, a water bottle, and long pants.
If you have any day-of questions, please feel free to call or text Stewardship Manager Whitney Bushey at (207) 313-0452.
