Nature journaling provides an opportunity for closer observation and a richer connection with the natural world. It encourages mindfulness, creativity, a sense of place, and has been proved to release stress.
Led by Maine Master Naturalist, Karen Zimmermann, we’ll meet at Simon Trail and meander through the mossy forest, discussing our findings along the way. We’ll gather in Simon Trail’s Outdoor Classroom, equipped with log stool seating, for a journaling exercise. This event is free and open to the public, all are welcome.
