Head North Ski Days will be held at the new Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument North end gate area.
We will have free rentals of cross-country skis, boots, and poles or snowshoe equipment and trailside snacks with a campfire each day beginning Saturday, March 16th going through Saturday, March 23rd. Volunteers will be on hand to help get beginners started. We also have a riverside snowshoe trail we just opened to the public. Wear layers, bring your own lunches, etc.
