Join us on Earth Day to celebrate nature, share thoughts about what we can each do to help make every day Earth Day and learn a bit about this wonderful preserve near downtown Bath. This AMC outing is a joint venture with KELT. Becky Kolak from the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust will join us to talk about the history of this preserve and the plans to expand it. A mixture of upland forests, rocky woodlands, wetland forests, and open wetland, the preserve protects 900 feet of frontage on Lilly Pond, the headwaters of Whiskeag Creek. There are about 3 miles of trails for us to explore. Come do a little "forest bathing" while enjoying what nature can give us on a spring morning.
