These groomed cross country ski trails offer, in addition to excellent skiing, the opportunity to spot wildlife, enjoy scenic views, and explore living history.
The trails travel through deciduous forest, spruce forest, and open field, and include a climb up the base of the mountain at the south end of the trail network.
The trails are groomed regularly and are utilized by local ski teams. They are open to the public by donation.
The trails are maintained primary by volunteers and groomed on a weekly basis, pending snow conditions. Cross country ski trails are open to the public all winter and are for use at your personal leisure. Ski Patrol does not patrol, so please use caution and do not exceed your ability. Trails are NOT for use by snowmobiles/ ATV's or motor vehicles. These trails are important to the community so please respect the trails, other patrons, the wildlife and their habitat.
The cross country ski trails are for use with the suggested donation of $10/person per visit or a $100 annual donation. There is a locked money box at the kiosk, along with a map of the trails.

Friends of the MountainFrom the center of downtown Greenville, head west on Pritham Ave (ME-6/ME-15). Go 6.1 miles and turn left on Ski Resort Road. Follow Ski Resort Road for 1.5 miles to its end at the restort at the base of the mountain. The trailhead for the cross countty ski trails is at the right side of the lower parking lot, and is marked with a kiosk.
