Mosher Hill Falls is reached by an informal, moderate streamside trail in the Bernard & Jean Kinney Family Forest, a 199-acre community forest just minutes from downtown Farmington. A short route leads to the falls, while a longer loop offers more time in the woods and beside the stream.
The trail winds through a quiet forest to Mosher Hill Falls, a striking 45-foot cascade. Expect natural, potentially uneven footing, especially near the stream and falls. The forest is rewarding to visit year-round, but use extra care around wet rocks, moving water, and steep terrain near the waterfall.
Two aluminum footbridges cross Mosher Stream above and below the falls, replacing former rock crossings and making it easier to explore both sides of the gorge. The loop remains steep and rocky in places, and visitors should use care around wet surfaces, moving water, and gorge edges.
