The trail starts by a playground and community garden and then passes around a ballfield before continuing most of its length through the woods. At about 4 feet wide, with a hard-packed gravel surface, and minimal grades, most of the trail is accessible to those who use wheelchairs and others with mobility challenges. There is a short section of about 300 feet at the far end of the loop that is currently dirt; this final section of trail is expected to be completed with hard-packed gravel in the fall of 2022.
