This short, mostly flat trail loop about a mile through the woods. It travels through mature trees, over a stream, and past old stone walls.

Freeport Conservation TrustThe trailhead is located on the east side of US-1, about 3 miles north of the center of Freeport village (on the right), and about 2.5 miles south of the intersection of US-1 and I-295 in Brunswick (on the left). There is a small parking area on the side of the road, with the trailhead indicated by a small hiker sign.
