Located along the Androscoggin River at the border of Topsham and Brunswick, this scenic walk provides stellar views of the Bowdoin Mill and the Androscoggin River. Along the Topsham bank, you will find a quieter path in the woods, but the highlight of the trail is the two bridges. A swinging pedestrian suspension bridge spans the river upstream, offering a dramatic view of the river. The back road bridge downriver meanwhile provides views of the rushing river as it flows across the dam.
The trail can be easily accessed from multiple locations in downtown Brunswick. Parking is available at both ends of the pedestrian footbridge over the Androscoggin (Mill Street in Brunswick, Bridge Street in Topsham). Parking at Fort Andross Mill is possible but oftentimes limited.
