Description

The trail hugs a field edge before entering the woods and soon climbs steeply up a cleared pipeline corridor. The trail jogs right into the woods before again following the pipeline corridor to the ridgeline. The trail turns north and follows the top of Goosepecker Ridge through a variety of forest types and sloping fields with expansive views before coming out on to Freedom Pond Road near Freedom Village (red blazes). On the south end of the Goose Ridge trail, at Penny Road, the Goose Ridge trail continues and connects with the Northern Headwaters trail network.
