The trail begins at the parking lot for the Horseshoe Lake boat launch. This is a great location to have a picnic before or after your walk along the trail.
The easy-walking trail parallels the pristine lake, and then cuts back to the Horseshoe Lake Road. The trail includes two benches for resting, bog bridging, and beautiful scenery. Listen for loons and watch for other birds along the way. This trail provides many viewpoints of the water that are perfect for finding new fishing spots, or for taking a dip in summer months! The trail length is 0.4 miles one-way.
