Trails leave from the parking area opposite the athletic fields, These wide, trails provide easy walking through towering White Pines to connect with two residential streets. Crushed stone paths around the perimeter of the athletic fields add distance to the trails offering up to nearly a half mile in walking and running trails.

From its intersection with Highland Avenue, follow Pleasant Hill Road south 0.1 miles and take the first left onto Tenney Lane. Follow Tenney Lane to the end to reach the entrance to the recreation area. Trails leave from the parking area.
