This 6-foot wide paved scenic path runs alongside both the Auburn and Lewiston sides of the Androscoggin River, connecting them via the Jenkins Memorial Footbridge. Both running slopes and cross slopes are low throughout the trail. Benches are frequent along the Auburn side but more clustered in Lewiston.
The Riverwalk Trail crosses underneath Court Street in Auburn and continues behind Festival Plaza (look for the huge colorful canopies during the summer and fall months).
From a T intersection in Bonney Park one can follow a paved path into Moulton Park or cross the railroad trestle into Lewiston’s Railroad Park, the site of numerous festivals, events, gardens and places to sit and enjoy the calm.

The Riverwalk Trail section in Auburn can be found directly parallel to Miller Street.
Bonney Park in Auburn can be accesed off Maine Street or Newbury Street.
The entrance to Railroad Park can be found just off of Oxford Street in Lewiston.
Gateway Park is located behind the car wash on Water Street.
