Description

This self-guided walking tour of 39 historic homes and sites in Bethel takes the user past homes that date from the 1770's to the 1920's. Explore the village of Bethel and take in historic inns, culturally significant homes, local leaders' homesteads, churches and common spaces that help make Bethel unique. This easy walk through the village is on sidewalks or quiet, tree-lined streets. The network of homes is designed so that the user can fully immerse oneself in the experience or check out small portions of the tour. There are interpretive guides and occasional guided tours and information about these can be found at the Bethel Historical Society.
